You are missing the point. There are better fans then the noctuas are are just about as silent or as silent. Slow the gelid silent down a bit and it's truely silent. having a heatsink after a fan doesn't always increase noise, my s-flexes haven't gotten louder being on my hyper 212+

edit: Way to prove my point, I don't use too high rpm fans either by the way I like my mix of performance to noise, I don't claim that all my fans are silent but some of them are. Not everyone uses high rpm fans.
