I am going to be ordering

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819103808

My question is.....the board says that it supports ddr 3 dual channel memory but the ram that I was going to order says that it is triple channel....Now I understand that its just 3 sticks of ram but will it still work and or be recognized by my new mobo??

Thanks.

Instead of 3x2GB sticks.
Get a 2x4GB stick. May cost you ~20$ more.
Less sticks are better when it comes to OC'ing.

Alright thanks. I was thinking I would do that anyways. I am very new to over clocking....Any tips?

Read the guides in the AMD section. Not to mention, use the search. It will yield you some really good results.

Yeah, definitely don't get some ripoff generic 1333 CL9 memory either. Most especially >1.5V ones.
This would be superior in price to begin with ($15 cheaper considering free shipping!), use promo code DM15A02CA and they only cost you $72.25! That's even better than your after rebate price with the Corsair generics. Don't be fooled by lack of heatspreaders either. It's better.

And definitely this newer motherboard over that:
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO - $96.30, $84.30 AR price match
