Hey im planning to buy the Dell Ultrasharp Dell U2410 For my gaming rig
next 2 weeks

what do u think ?

is the 6ms good enuf for the gaming?

Yes, it will work perfectly fine. Make sure you have a video card that can efficiently power a game running at 1920x1200. With a GTS250, you'll likely have to turn some settings down. Also, don't worry about the response time. I game on a 20" IPS with a 16ms response time with no lag or ghosting.

The response time should usually tell you how much ghosting you get. The problem is that it's measured in gray to gray transitions. This is of no relevance in RL applications.

(Just an example)

My main screen: 2ms. At least 2-3 frames of ghosting
My secondary: 16ms: NO ghosting AT ALL.
