You will NOT regret it. It is the best case I have ever owned, hands down. The craftsmanship is unmatched and the quality of the materials can't be found by any other case manufacturer in the world. From the case I received, it appears quite obvious to me that Case Labs takes absolute pride in what they are doing.

And if you ever have a request or an issue, they listen. Get one if you can. You will never want anything else.

Thanks for all the help with the motherboard. That's reassuring

Thanks for the concern.

No, I haven't figured out what the noise was. After I installed them I didn't want to take them out again and risk whatever it was that made the noise doing it again.

It could have been a multitude of things:

1) Just the noise it made when sliding into the PCI-e slot, which to me seems to make the most sense considering they were both connected and I couldn't see quite where it was.

2) Some of the watercooling equipment exerting a loud noise due to sliding from the pressure.

3) The metal ending (where you plug your monitor into) not quite being lined up properly on the bottom and being pushed into the case and with enough pressure it would move out and make a noise.

4) The video card PCI-e connection snapping, which I highly doubt and hope not.

I think I may be able to put some pictures up today if Home Depot has what I'm looking for so stand by for evening!

Thanks all for viewing, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, don't worry about the memory clips as my Crosshair has the same thing. You just slide the memory at an angle with the bottom side going in first. Then you push the top in until it clips in place.

It's a very nice case, I've been following the Case Labs guys for a while now seeing the different types of innovations they came up with. I pretty definite on buying one from them, now I just have to decide which one. I'm kind of leaning towards an M8. On the other hand going for an M10 with a pedestal pretty much means I never need to buy another case ever again lol.

Are you planning on lighting up this rig at all with some LEDs or CCFLs? I'm curious to see what the smoked plexi would look like with a lit interior.

You definitely need to get the pedestal attachment to go under the case. It would make it epic. I am curious tho. How thick is the metal on the case?

Haha, I would have if I needed it! Plus I want it to fit under my desk.

The chassis is .090". I, personally, think it is quite thick. Nice and heavy. I prefer that though. Shows to me the manufacturer cares enough to make it sturdy so it won't just snap or feel like cheap plastic.

I'm with you on the thickness. I love thick and heavy cases, preferably aluminum. Similar thickness to MM which is great. Might have to think about using this case for another build. I personally hate plastic. I will never purchase case with any. They look and feel cheap.

I'm subbing this thread - and I'll be starting my own (re)buildlog as soon as my case arrives next week. It won't be quite as pretty as yours as my computer is kinda dusty (having a dog & cat tend to do this) but it'll be just as functional :-p Nice job on your build so far dude! Can't wait for more pics!
