I've looked at the comparisons/benchmarks, just wondering if there is a big real world improvement by upgrading. Most use is for fs9/fsx.

huge improvement, but as far as fsx goes.... thats all cpu correct?

Yes, as far I know. I have more payware invested in FS9, so that's what i usually run. My 965 (OC 3.8)/GTS250 combo runs it OK, but there is occasional micro-stutter that I'm a bit tired of.

It would be a considerable difference, but I would upgrade to something better like the 560 instead for a bigger increase in performance.

Or you could get a HD6870 for almost the same price as a GTX460
