Antec TP-650 for $80 or the Seasonic X-650 for $110 (higher efficiency, a little better electrical performance) with the promo code as it's at a good price currently.

What about this PSU any comments on it. The reason im pointing it out is cus i can get it for 100 bucks.

When the PSU is connected is it still drawing all that power or does it only use as much power as it needs to?

I wouldn't bother with that CM unit, it's old, dated, and pretty average.

And yes, a PSU only draws what is required for you rig.

I would recommended a Seasonic X650 or an X750. Either will do just fine.

The computer will only pull what it needs - up to 1000W in that case. for your PC it will sit less than 600.

But Coolermaster's PSU get a bad rep, coolermaster haters will be here soon.
