I know it probably seems like a funny question to ask, but I can't tell you how many times it has happened to me and others.

Are you positive you've connected EVERYTHING from the PSU to the mobo properly?

certainly sounds like a PSU issue, what PSU do you have in this new system? is it brand new?

Double check that your 24pin and 8pin connectors are secure...and that the psu voltage selector is set to 110v or 220v depending on where you live.

any chance that ur mobo or any other component might be shorting.....

AX1200 probably is running, or the lights wouldn't come on. The fan doesn't run on the AX series, unless it has to.

Simple questions first.

Do the fans come on?

if so:

Have you plugged in the 4/8 pin CPU power connector?

Did you install the Mobo standoffs in the correct locations (one out of place, and the Mobo can short out to the case)? Did you even install standoffs?
