Core vs memory

So hello OCN.

I just ordered my new motherboard, and it supports Crossfire(x48). So I'm thinking about investing in another 5770. But in doubt if I should go for cheap reference and attach another Arctic Cooling L2 Pro to my next GPU or buy an overclocked one. i'm in doubt if it will actually fit with the huge cooler, so thought buying a factory overclocked one may be better, as aftermarket coolers are like extremely limited for my card.
So i've been looking on this Gigabyte http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...V%20R577SO-1GD and this XFX http://xfxforce.com/en-us/productdet...howlearnmore=1

Gigabyte got 25 more Mhz on core while XFX got 400 more MHz (at least on site, 100 in "fact" (like in AMD overdrive). So wondered what would be best for a PC gamer. Not even 20 dollars difference so would just like to know if MHz actually is scratch? Because never really feels like it improves performace when you overclock.

The speed difference between these is tiny so i'd go for the gigabyte as it has a better cooler.

GIGABYTE's 5770 SO will be better undoubtedly, 10 more core clock will get much improved in performance than 10 more memory clock, if you had try it, you will get the words I type. No need to say this card is even much cheaper than before.
