Depending on how long you can wait, there looks to be a Samsung 24" 16:10 (1920x1200) PLS LED backlit screen coming possibly around Summer which, if the specs/hype is to be believed, should be better than the U2410 or any other IPS screen.

There's not a lot of info on the 24", but it's bigger brother, the 27" Samsung SA850, certainly looks good specwise - PLS (supposedly better viewing angles than IPS), LED backlit (50W), 2560x1440, 5ms GTG, 4x USB 3.0 hub, 100% sRGB (10bit).

Otherwise as others have mentioned, look at the Dell U2410 or the HP ZR24w if the Dell is too expensive.

I would be intrested in the 27" if its priced nice, no reason why i cant wait.
