Unless you really want to do a suicide run, I recommend that you back the CPU down to 4.2GHZ or less.

Is there any real reason that you're trying to push it?
But what if you can get over 4.2GHz with under 1.38v? I have mine at 4.5GHZ@1.355 volts (stable with Intel Burn Test/Prime95 Blend 24h/Folding). Was not stable at 4.7GHZ@1.4v with Prime95 Blend though (lasted 2-3 hours).

I can get mine up there. I did not exceed 1.445v because I was running 95 C temps @ 4.9ghz during Prime 95. I shut it down and stuck with 4.8.

Jesus dude. Keep it under 80C and/or upgrade your heatsink. I would back down to 4.5-4.6ghz with your heatsink.

Are you running the latest bios?
Because before I updated to 1203 (along with a new mobo) I was stuck at 4.8.

I was quoting BWC's post.

I would use blend first. Then you can decide if you want to stress it again with small ftt's.
