[Toronto Sun] TekSavvy raises Internet caps to celebrate CRTC review - Page 4

The battle is far from over. The Government only dished out this reprieve because they are scared that it would push their Minority into an election - with all of the backlash.

But the pockets of the lobbyists are deep, just like they are now reconsidering having aa real Cellular provider in this country, and may yank that license because I guess that kind of high quality service has "hurt" the sham operations of the duopolists.

They will talk about it until the whole election thing blows over, then it will be back to gouging the customer as usual - just like they want to quintuple our hydro rates in the light of all of that fraud and corruption, where people that would be in prison (or beheaded) for their crimes get to live high off the massive pensions they get here...

This is exactly how it is - and yes, in other, more democratic countries, there would be many times more people imprisoned for mismanaging essential public utilities and siphoning massive amounts tax payers money into the pockets of a half a dozon or so former managers, all of whom achieved nothing but sell off my heritage to a private firm, and leave the debt to the ratepayer(me) to take responsibility for.

If that's capitalism at its finest, I would certainly have a better quality of life under, say, socialism, or even communism.

At least we would all be on the same team - ours.
