There will always be a few good chips from every batch that are insane. As they get better, they just try to get more money. That's the life of computer parts. As a whole tho, once they get a lot better, they change the name. I'm not sayin that I like it, just we have to deal with it. I know for the most part that 9 out of 10 950's will overclock way better than the 920's and 930's that I played with. Every 950 that I put into systems for people was set to 4.2ghz at the min on air. On water some were at 4.4ghz and a few at 4.44ghz. I never had a 920 that overclocked to 4.4ghz with HT on @ 1.375v. I've had about 4 950's do it. Just set one up for some one today. It did 4.4ghz on water with my test bench, but on the V6 air cooler, it was getting to toasty at 4.2ghz and I dropped it to 4ghz. I really just seen how crazy my Quad Feser could handle the heat compaired to air. It was a huge change.
