but consider this, you are going to buy a low end cpu, pairing that up with a past generation lower-mid range card is probably not the best idea.... AGAIN, IF YOU ARE FINE WITH PLAYING THE OLDER GAMES AND NEWER ONES AT MID OR EVEN LOW SETTINGS THEN THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN THE HD5770.......
Im not really sure what problems you are having. The 5770 is a pretty good card for the price. You know it is about the same at a GTS450 and you see guys with those all the time that do just fine.

The 5770 plays crysis at max settings at 1080p, so im not sure how it is bad for 1080p.

Really!!! My 5770 and a few others I have seen choke at 1600x900 with medium settings in crysis. The last few stages are horrible and the first few are playable on high (definitely not extreme) but with highly fluctuating fps.
I really dont know what to say because this is from my personal experience with several 5770s of different make, paired up with quite good cpus in each case.
Mafia II and Just cause II are playable with moderate settings, but not in a very good way. And I dont even want to talk about metro. This is a pretty good card for the price but SORRY, definitely not a card recommended for serious gamers or enthusists on a budget. The gtx460 is a far superior card and the extra price you pay is totally justified. Am not going to defend a poor card just because I own it.

I haven't played mafia II, just cause II or metro. But I can max out crysis except for AA and sometimes i have to turn down the foliage thing depending on the scene. But it plays just fine. I mean I don't know what you call playable though, I can get like 25-30 FPS, which is fine for me.

That's a nice build, similar to what I have in my HTPC build but minus the graphics card.

Looks like some great deals!
Just that I wouldn't recommend that RAM kit, I've seen a lot of AMD users have problems with it. Try: Crucial 1333 CL7 (hopefully it goes back in stock soon), Patriot Signature 1600 CL9, Team 1600 CL9
Remember that Compucase has an extra $5 off via promo code!

My fps was lower than 20, same on the 5770s i talked about earlier (each on fairly good systems). Anyway, didnt mean to offend you or anyone else.
