Yes it is enabled. So even if I power everything off hook it up to the SATAIII port and try to do a fresh install off of my windows disk it wont work because of drivers that are already on the drive? How do I go about erasing the drive completely? I will /search in the mean time. lol Sorry again guys still learning.

I've seen where Windows installs done on ports in AHCI mode would fail if switched to IDE mode in BIOS.

is raid enabled?

Raid is enabled. I even tried to get into the "marvell bios" using ctrl m to see if there was something in there I could maybe change. Right now my configs are

Intergrated peripherals>
Sata mode (AHCI)
Sata 3.0 Storage control (enabled)

Hard disk boot priority
1. SCSI-0 : SO C300-CTFDDAC064MAG
2. Bootable add-in cards

I have been searching for awhile now for a regedit I could do to somehow switch over the configuration to the marvell controler. I dont get why it doesnt see the disk when I try to just do a fresh install using the sataIII port though.

It finds it in bios and reads everything fine. The minute I try to do a "custom install" for windows where it tells you to select the HD I have a completly empty list.

right now I am in recovery and trying to find the right driver to load to see if that works to atleast make the computer recognize the HD.

On the system auto fix this was result
Root Cause Found: A hard disk could not be found. If a hard disk is installed, it is not responding.

Decided to try and do as much homework as I could and diagnose my SSD problem incase it was not bad ports on my board. Besides I want to learn and what better way to do so other than troubleshooting headaches! lol

Here was my first plan of attack:
(scroll down to read the second post by owcraftsman)
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m...e=1&print=true

It does work to load my drive in the list but will not let me load windows still my errors are:
* Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for the installion. Error code: 0x80070057*

So moving forward after looking up the error code this was my second plan of attack!
(scroll down to read the first post by Theacen)
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...f-be2be546e4c0
I used all steps but except for writing disk with 0's

After finishing that I recieved this error when trying to install windows again but this error had no codes it just said:
*Setup was unable to create a system partition*

Back to the drawing board and found this.
(Read the post by Undertow)
http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-...partition.html

After putting it all together in that order I finish up with:
*Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's Hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu*

Everything is enabled in bios. I am going to keep playing with it because I came to far to turn back now unless I know I have tried every single damn thing I can to fire this damn thing up in SATAIII lol. Hope some of the info posted above can help people with similar problems.

Thank you to the poster's mentioned above!
