May be getting a Corsair HX620... specific OEM variant/difference from SS-650HT?

Score, just found it for $40 on Craigslist. This is coming into Hexagonal 2011 after the $65 GTS 450, hopefully. Coming from an SS-650HT which I'm sure should actually be the same Seasonic S12 Energy Plus.

This model appears somewhat different though from my original PSU, even though I'm pretty sure it's also an S12E+. First of all the 3 rails instead of 4, though that probably isn't necessarily an issue for quality and not an issue for me. I don't see this PSU being used that much on OCN actually; was it simply because it never sold that much, or is this actually not as good?
Does anyone here know what specific OEM model this is, i.e. if this is not an S12 Energy Plus or a specific variant of it? I like knowing specifics.

I'd think it was the original S12, as the HX620 was one of the first PSU's Corsair made.

Edit: This Hardware secrets review confirms it as the original S12

Would this be better or worse than what's in my SS-650HT? Not that it really matters, in any case I'd probably be getting the PSU anyway since it's $40, and with the GTS 450 consuming less power, consumption'd be somewhat less of an issue.

The S12E+ based SS-650HT is probably the better power supply, but the HX620 isn't a bad one by a long shot. It's the difference between 80+ and 80+ bronze, plus a few minor tweaks to the platform.

The HX620 and HX650 are made on the same S12/M12 platform. The latter is tweaked a little for higher efficiency and slightly better electrical performance (S12E) and the Seasonic SS-650HT is basically a HX650.... so the HX620 isn't far off.

That sounds good. Apparently the PSU is very new (maybe only recently bought?) so that's a good thing, so the warranty should be fresh and new if seller agrees on RMA-through-him/her.

Nope, looks like this PSU got sold. Ah well. I've seen Antec PSUs sometimes go for real cheap... who knows
