More RAM = harder overclock? :/

ASRock P45DE Mobo
Pentium Dual-Core E6500 2.93Ghz Stock
4x 1GB Kingston HyperX DDR2-1066 PC2-8500 CL5 2.2v

I've run into a very annoying problem, I just recently installed 2 of the 4 RAM sticks that i have, before installing them i had my system overclocked to 3.6Ghz (10x360) easy with only up'ing my CPU voltage with decent temps, barely touching 70 degrees celsius and 24/7 stable, now for some reason after installing my RAM i cant get 3.6 even with my volatages as high as the newbie guide has recommended (DRAM = 2.31v|CPU = 1.3625v|NB = 1.3v| and increased my PLL by one notch). I increased my voltages in this order: CPU->NB->DRAM->PLL by one notch at a time and then saving and restarted, at the moment its stable for roughly 15 minutes on OCCT Linpack test before BSOD, ive tried some different combinations of voltages such as putting PLL to default and decreasing my NB by one notch and increased my CPU by a notch but the temps starting going as high as 76 degrees celsius, I also tried 11x330 but then it became more unstable BSOD'ing within a minute of the Linpack, im completely stumped and dont know what else to try any help would be much appreciated.

more dimms puts more stress on the memory controller, which can cause instability on the OC

More memory places more stress on the CPU's IMC. Try bumping the NB voltage and see what that gives you.

basically your northbridge imo should be right with your cpu in temps, alot of people will say it needs to be lower.. if so setup a fan to push air over it, and you should be fine with temps until you reach 1.6+ on the nb with air

I would search/ask in the mobo_section what it can handle.
But like all others have said -> more NB voltage
I got 4x4GB so i`m fully loaded and never got any problems.
I cranked the NB-volt up to 1notch under the maximum and it`s running.
/* which was also the first value i was able to boot */
Good Luck with your OC!
