So pretty much only sata port's 1 & 2 work?

Sata III works
Sata II (Which 98% of hardware use) have the problems.

I dont have any sata 6's so lol whey!! So why h/d's which are sata II can be used on the sata 3gb port's I currently only have 4 sata devices in total all h/d's havent upgraded to optical drive yet. Anyone's personal opinion where i should go from here just go for it since only bout 5% are affected or just wait 2/3 month's.

IT FITS. 6970 fits without taking off the HDD cage so you are good to go. I have built a rig with 6950 to 912+ and another with 6970 and 6970 was the same size as 6950.
