Logitech G3 polling rate 1000hz

when i change the polling rate with HIDUSBF to 1000hz i can not move my mouse, i have to reboot and polling rate is 5000hz again . is there any other way ?

Just use the Logitech stock software and you will be fine

y may I ask? I use setpoint, and it doesnt pose me any problems

I've used setpoint before it looks ugly but it works.

5000Hz? Yeesh, the heck is the point in that. I can't stand 120 but I can't see the point in anything over 1000, unless you'd like to kill cpu cycles.

XP had a nice little proggie that did it and kept the rate. As for 7, I haven't found a single one. What OS have you got?

My deathadder feels different on each polling rate. 1000 makes it feel the snappiest.

So 5000Hz must be 0.20 milliseconds? Thats redonkulous. My OCZ mouse runs at 500Hz/2ms, yet my monitor refreshes at 5ms. Couldn't imagine having a 1ms response monitor and a 5000Hz mouse,lol

My deathadder actually does the same thing, i try to switch the polling rate to 1000hz and it just stops working...really annoying, i gots xp
