Problem with Samsung F3 HD502HJ

Thread Starter
Hello guys, I wonder if you could help me. I recently bought a pair of used 500GB F3's, but one of them seem to have some issues.

The drive is read correctly by the bios and systems starts (take about a minute more to load windows when ts connected) but once booted to win 7 its not working propperly (intel software still detects it). Went to Disk manager and it appears as if it was 250GB unformatted drive. When I try to give format to it an error appears saying that there was a problem with the I/O device.

I have swapped sata and power cables, also swapped sata ports, but nothing works. Is there something that can be done?

Thanks in advance.

Joarangoe.
