Amd motherboard sli does not work for me!

Just didn't know where to post this.

SLI patch + driver 260.99 works fine.

Any driver after that causes the driver to stop working and my computer to go into 640x480 frame buffer.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE 790FXTA-UD5 R.1
GPU: 2x GTX 470
CPU: AMD 965 BE

So I installed the latest driver and saw SLI was disabled. Went into the driver thing to turn it on and the driver stopped responding and I went into frame buffer.

use version 1.0 of the SLI patch...

here http://www.xdevs.com/sli/SLIPatch_v1.0_final.exe

then all the drivers will work..

Thought I'd share my experience;

I'd been on the latest drivers (>260) before I got my hands on a SLI bridge, and the patch never worked for me. One day I decided to driver sweep and install version 258 of the ForceWare drivers, and bam, SLI patch worked first time. I've since been told you need a bridge past the 258 drivers for the patch, which would be the case with me.

Otherwise, my machine is rocking solid with two 460's SLI'd with a bridge, still on the 258 drivers.
