I had problems very similar where I would lock up. When playing fallout:new vegas, I would lock up and get a very high pitch sound. Turned out, mine was a case of unstable overclock. Just had to mess around a bit to get the settings right.

For errors w/ memtest86+

- Go into BIOS and make sure that all the RAM settings are correct. DRAM voltage, timings, speed.
- If the above doesn't fix it, it could possibly be bad or incompatible RAM, or even an issue stated below @ No errors w/ memtest86+.

No errors w/ memtest86+

- Move onto other stress tests like prime95 or LinX. Any errors with this could mean too low of a voltage with either the CPU, or another voltage on the motherboard. Auto settings aren't always perfect, with my motherboard I had to take my CPU PLL off auto and manually set it to the correct value to get stable on STOCK.
- If the above doesn't fix it, then it's more than likely a driver/software issue.

General note, a junky/no name power supply or a power supply that doesn't have enough amperage for the +12V rail or wattage could cause the same issues, as it seems it's only when the system is under a decent amount of stress. It would help us if you listed what power supply you have as well.
I just ran Memtest86+ V. 4.20 overnight. I came up with no errors at all. Where do you fellas suppose i should go from here?

EDIT: I'm going to run Prime95 for a bit, I'll let you know if I come up with anything... I heard this RAM was an awful choice for my MOBO. (might be incompatible, I'm not sure).
