Headpone Amp (not portable)

Thread Starter
I have about £100 to spend. It's currently a choice between watercooling or a headphone amp.

The amp i use at the moment is an arcam delta 90 but that's been moved to drive my speakers. So i'm in the market for a headphone amp now.

Has to be available in the UK. I'd rather not ship overseas unless it's really necessary. I use Beyerdynamic DT770 (250 ohm)s with them.

My budget is flexible.

Thanks

for that price you can't find a little dot tube amp on ebay or something? i love those amps for their power per dollar. i use to drive my grados with them.

Do you need a DAC as well? Check out Audio-GD products. My roommate has their FUN and it's awesome. I have an NFB-12 on the way. Their parts are hand made to order and the quality is superb.

A better source than what?

If you're looking to play out of your computer, than a better dac. For example, save up for a perfectwave, or m903, or ref 5, or lower, whatever your budget/valuation of audio.

Those are all >£1,000. I don't take my audio that seriously and most of my music is in 320KB/s mp3
