Mx518 and other mice questions

Edit: If anyone can recommend a good gaming mouse for a 15cm hand(from middle finger to wrist) and 5cm thumb.

I'm still trying to find the perfect mouse for me, but one big problem I've run into is my hand size, my hand is only about 6 inches long, from the top of the middle finger to the wrist. I have the mx518 sitting around and think the sensor is the best sensor I've ever seen with a mouse (its the older version of the mx518), but the problem I have is that the mouse seems to big for me. Could someone tell me if a six inch hand is to small for the mx518? Also could anyone recommend a good gaming mouse that will fit my hand size (6')? I've tried out quite a few but haven't found the right one.( I use palm grip)

The best one so far that seems to fit my hand well is the Xai, but the problem I have with the xai is that I get dust in the sensor easy and it will start to make huge brutal skips to the point that it almost stops working, could anyone find me a solution to get rid of the dust in the sensor problem? Should I just clean the mouse pad better or is there something else I can do?

While the MX518 is a big mouse, your issue most likely (not sure) stems from the fact that your gripstyle is wrong for the mouse

Have a look at the links below. After that, I can recommend you a mouse.

Are you palm grip? http://www2.razerzone.com/MouseGuide/html/palmgrip.php

Are you claw grip? http://www2.razerzone.com/MouseGuide/html/clawgrip.php

Are you fingertip grip? http://www2.razerzone.com/MouseGuide...gertipgrip.php

I use palm grip with 8.5 in hands, and its a perfect fit for me, maybe just a little short if i used the correct palm grip but i am about 85% palm 15% claw.

ill take a picture of my hand laying flat on it, I would suggest getting a mx revolution, they work perfect for any size hand.

EDIT: here are the pictures of my hand on my mouse

Top of middle finger to me in 7in, MX518 fits me perfectly. Actually, it could be a tad bigger. 6 1/2 in would be perfect.

Sorry, didn't see that.

Well.. The logitech palm grip mice are probably the biggest ones out there.

For a cheap mouse, the razer deathadder is a great mouse. Both versions have legendary sensors that beat most other sensors out there. It should be a little smaller than the MX518. If you have overly sweaty hands, the glossy side plastic is gonna bother you though.

Have a look at it online. You might be able to find some measurements.

Thanks for all the responses so far, I might try out the mx518 again. My thumb barely passes the first side button on the mx518, hopefully thats big enough, does anyone know? And I read that the logitech g3 uses the same sensor as the g5, I'm wondering if that would be a good fit, anyone know?

the Logitech mx300 would have been perfect for you, but they stopped making it
you should honestly try the Zowie EC-2...its small, and has a great sensor.
