Wondering about bios options

Thread Starter
I was just wondering if I have some options in my bios set to the correct value for optimal performance:

Boot Failure guard [Enabled]
Spread Sprectum [Disabled]
Enhanced Halt State [Disabled]
Intel Virturalisation tech [Disabled]
CPU thermal throttling [Disabled]
No-Excute memory protection [Disabled]
Intel spread step tech [Disabled]
Intel c-state tech [Disabled]

Are thee all correct?

Doesn't look like anythings out of place. Cpu-thermal throttling takes place when theres a temperature of around or equal to Tjmax, ie, 100 degrees. If you feel you want to be on the safe side, you could enable that.

I heard that thermal throttling takes out clock cycles when the CPU is under a full load. Is that true?

This BIOS feature determines the clock speed of the processor when it is in the Suspend To RAM (STR) power saving mode. It has no effect when the processor is in normal active mode. So you shouldn't face a problem either way.

Hope this helps.
