Which GTX 570?

Thread Starter
So I'm planning on buy two 570s for SLI next week some time. However my question is..Which ones should I get?

I wan't to overclock them so they can be on par with the 580s , Which one is a good overclocker?

I was looking at the 570 Phantom, but I'm just not entierly sure if two of them will fit my mobo and case. Asus P6T Deluxe in a Cosmos S with a Corsair 1000w PSU. I'm replacing my current GPU setup which is a 4870x2(tri-fan)+4870 1gb.
I've heard that the Phantom takes up nearly 3 slots , but so does my 4870x2 and for my 4870 1gb I use the bottom PCI 16 slot, which fits, so I'm thinking two GTX 570 Phantoms will fit? Or am I wrong?!

I've also had my eyes on the GAINWARD GLH which comes pre-overclocked

So whatta you guys think is the the best SLI 570 setup?

I really suggest getting either the standard EVGA GTX 570 for $350 or the super clocked EVGA one for $360 from newegg.com if you prefer.

I say....
Go with one with good warranty.
I say get which ever one is cheaper..
The 5xx series cards have great Air coolers.. to my knowledge though those "non" reference cards either won't have water blocks at all or they will but later on... if you want to water cool...
With that said.. if you get a reference card you'll have more options from difference companies.
If that is not in you bag of future stuff... I still say get reference models.. I believe there much cheaper than non ref. and also you'll have some money left over for what ever.. maybe a new game or something..
Good luck...

Forgot to mention a pretty important detail..I do not live in the US. I live in Norway, hence I don't meet the warranty criteria ... unfortunately and i cannot use newegg as a reference site. Although I know I want 570s no doubt, just what brand, thats th question.

Well yes I know one will fit, but I'm asking if two will? Some guy told me that I would need 6 PCI slots, whereas my mobo has 5.. But I'm asking here because I believe he might be wrong, consdiering I'm running a 4870x2 tri cooler which is a 3 slot GPU and a normal 4870 under that...

Now this is in my old case an antec p182 SE where the roof of the PSU compartment is only 5mm from my bottom 4870 1gb.

Now I havent got the comsos S yet, gonna order it with the two GPUs soon, but from what I see there are no compartments in the way so Ithe two GPUs will fit?

Getting cards which overclock well is pure luck.

Seems like the bottom Phantom card will be in the way of my jumpers. So I'll go with the Gainward Golden Samples, the one with the 2 fans..
