Wifi died again, need suggestions for new one.

The wifi portion of my router keeps cutting out and no longer becomes seeable by my other devices. I wanted to ask you all if the linksys e3000 is worth $150 or are the cheaper alts that will do the same. I wanted true dual band, but usb isn't a requirement since my mac can easily share media/printers across the network and is already set up to do so. Gigabit ethernet is a must.

I've narrowed it down to:

err WRT400N is only only has a 10/100 lan. It does however have an extremely fast 680mhz CPU compared to the WRT610N v2 which has a 480mhz CPU.

A e3000 is a re-branded WRT610N v2. If you go for the wrt610n, you might be unlucky and get the first version of the router with a slower clocked 300mhz CPU.

Best for your money, I'd get this:

uses the same amazing fast processor on the wrt400n and has everything else you need.

Amazing router. Just set it up for my grandparents.

but between the ones you've posted...

I'd just get the e3000

+2 on the Netgear WNDR3700.
From what I have read, this seems to be the best wireless router for the money.
