hello there I'm a little concerned that my thermaltake tr2 750w wont have enough juice to support extra 6870 for crossfire any and all experience welcomed

A quality 750W would be more than ample; however, many of the Thermaltake TR2 units are crap and can't do what the label says. If you have the TR2 RX 750W then that's a definite no.

750W is plenty for xfire. But I doubt that TT can deliver the rated power.

If the TR2 RX 750W is your PSU, it cannot deliver its rated power. 6870 CF won't use that much power, but this PSU has bad noise and ripple.

A better quality 650-750W PSU would run 6870 CF easily.

I would def try to hunt down a better one. If you can get the cords to reach you would probably be ok for a while, but 24/7 and longterm you would be pushing it. I have a HAF 922 and Antec TP 750w and the wires reach every where fine.

With a good 750w unit, definitely and with ease.
With yours? No.

89.00 and one of the best 750 watt psu's you can buy. Running mine with 2 6870s and a GTX465, no issues.
