OP asked cost effective water cooling solution for only his i7. H70 takes the cake for what he is asking. Keep up the posts with blind hate for a pre-built water cooling solution. Its amusing.
Wow, you're pretty thick I see, Not anywhere in my post did I have "blind hate" for prebuilt water cooling, I simply stated the truth about them. If you would like to refer to that as blind hate to make you feel better about your purchase then go ahead, but don't accuse me of something completely that you made up just because you don't like facts.

Here let me show you.

A true enthusiast loop will always greatly outperform a all in one, all while being expandable and being able to cool any chip you have int he future. Also, being able to water cool a video card is to me much more satisfying then a CPU, as great results can be had over air cooling. Op, I recommend the Rasa 360 kit, and then in the future you can also cool your video card as well.
So the H70 watercooling block by your standard isnt a watercooling product? Because its not a true enthusiast water cooling kit, its not a watercooling kit? Im confused. Define enthusiast for me please?

2. a religious visionary or fanatic.
Use enthusiast in a Sentence

Search enthusiast on the Web

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Origin:

—Related forms
an·ti·en·thu·si·ast, noun

—Synonyms
1. zealot, devotee, fan.
So lets say the word means fan or devotee. In this case, since the Rasa kit is a pre-compiled kit like the H70 is wouldnt it also be labeled as non true enthusiast?

My simple point to someone who isnt thick headed like yourself is...

The OP asked what the most cost effective cpu watercooling was, not which performed best, which was upgradable later, ect...

The H70 is a water cooling product. It does perform well, not top of the line, but well. Its also less cost than the kits that keep being brought up, hence its the best "cost effective watercooling product/kit"

I understand now that reason does not work with you, you don't have the sense to see what I'm talking about. The H50 and H70 are great, but they're more comparable to high end air coolers, as being all in one like they are they must sacrifice performance. If you really, and I mean really think hard about it, can't understand I'm not "hating" on anything, I'm just stating FACTS.

I could care less about the enthusiast definition, if you honestly can't tell their is a difference then you're on the wrong forums.
I also like how you called me thick headed after I used the term first, come on kid stop arguing, I could care less about your opinion, it's wrong, all I stated was facts and you can't handle them because you must defend what you have. I like how not once in your post you didn't say anything about the facts I stated while comparing the two, sit here and argue, but anyone who reads this will see that I'm being reasonable and stating facts, while you're trying to win an argument by trying to be clever and throwing around terms like "blind hate".
Edit: I notice you call your system future proof: What cooling system is more future proof then having your own separate rad, fans, and pump and then being able to only add blocks to change components.

tom1121 its not use moe is a h70 fanboi he cant see a h70 is no better then high end air and even a cheap rasa 240 kit will outperform the h70. And right now the rasa rs240 is 129 and a h70 is 105 id say a 10+c drop over the h70 is worth it.

A couple things Id like to point out in this post.

#1 its actually "I couldn't care less". Could care less shows that you do have care in your discussion.

#2 I understand you're not hating on it. I will address what I mean at the bottom quote by you.

#3 Im not debating the Rasa RS360 kit is better, but its more expensive. The RS240 kit was brough up, yes it should be better than the H70, but is it more expensive. (The OP stated that his budget is $150, so the RS240 may be the best kit for him provided he can make it fit his case)

#4 I NEVER called you thick headed, please go back and read what I did say.

#5 The blind hate comment again addressed at the bottom quote.

Im actually not a fanboy. The H70 is decent, but loud. Its almost good as a Noctua d14, but more expensive, however the size comparison is a +1 to the H70. Again, if the RS240 works for him great, we now know his price range. The H70 is still the most cost effective watercooling though at a lower price point.

Ok, on to this one. I do apologize about the blind hate comment as I see it wasnt warranted. The Post by JP is what got me a bit riled up. Now with that said, you were very quick to call me thick headed and your very first post quoting me called me fail, even the first post quoted in this reply you tell me I have no ability to reason have have sense...pot and kettle.

My final post on the matter. We all agree the RS240 /360 kit is better performance. As I have said multiple times the question was about price, not performance. The H70 is the cheapest watercooling solution and is comparable to the best air cooling solutions, thus I stand by my repetitive comment as it is the best solution to the OPs original question.

I see where you're coming from, thanks for a reasonable post. I do believe that at a budget of $150 the rasa kit is the best, if he's willing to water cool it is honestly the best choice in cooling without going to the extremes. But I do believe you called me thick headed lol, you're exact words were

My simple point to someone who isnt thick headed like yourself is...

No hard feelings, just an Internet forum.
