You guys are so bad for my wallet!

Thread Starter
Hello everybody, long time lurker here. Posted a few threads asking for help and I finally decided to introduce myself.
My name is Philip and I live in Greece.
After a month or so of reading OCN like 3-4 hours per day I ordered a bunch of cool new stuff! Eagerly waiting for them to come tomorrow morning!
And of course, as the title states, you guys are so bad for my wallet!
It's fine :)

Hey d3viliz3d! Pleasure to meet you! I'm not on the edge of broken yet and I don't plan to be. I actually plan on selling my current rig and get a new core i5 760 based.
It's fine :)

Since I know the loss of folding (my money on electricity bills). What are the gains?
It's fine :)

Folding for "the cause", and you get a nice little postbit after 50k points. At the expense of heat, noise, and money at your end. Most people do it because they have loved ones with diseases which folding tries to help solve. Don't feel forced into it, it's your choice. Some members here, as you can see, are a little pushy about it.

I used to fold, but stopped because I dont't really get anything out of it, I'll still fold on my i7, but I'm not gonna buy new hardware just to fold on.

Anyhow, welcome, I never thought I'd have a system this powerful when I was running Ubuntu on my Pentium 4 with a 19" LCD, but crazy things happen when you join,

There is also guides and tutorials to help already linked you to them.... then your wallet can hurt even moarXD ps: Zodac and LilChris are nuts but awesome at the same time if you start into folding they are always there to help (L)
