Upgrading system, need cooling advice.

Thread Starter
Salutations folks,

I had previously skimmed alot of the cooling guides here and elsewhere and had an ok setup for my current system. It still ran a little warmer than I would have liked, but it was manageable. I'm looking at doing some upgrades that I'm sure will increase that heat output and need to rethink my current fan setup and asking for some advice.
Upgrading:
Phenom X4 to X6 (still using stock heatsink/fan)
Adding:
2 more DDR2-1066 2GB sticks (w/heatsinks)
another Geforce 9800GT (w/stock fan)

(system pictured is not my system, but is the case used)

Current (not-so-optimized cooling setup):
A: (TOP) 80mm - out
B: (SIDE) 80mm - out
C: (SIDE) 80mm - in
D: (SIDE) 120mm - in
E: (REAR) 140mm (bottom of PSU, vented) - out (but in to PC)
F: (REAR) 80mm - out

Any recommendations to the fan setup? (regarding in/out)
Any help would be appreciation. Thanks in advance!

A: OUT
B: IN
C: IN
D: IN
E: OUT
F: OUT

that layout would give the best air flow in my opinion.

^ what he said except f i liek to have that in then your cpu will get fresh air and then it gets pulled out and vented by the top fan and move the 120 fan from the side intake to the top exhaust, then the 80 thats there on the side for intake. it will help

edit: here
A: (TOP) 120mm - out
B: (SIDE) 80mm - in
C: (SIDE) 80mm - in
D: (SIDE) 80mm - in
E: (REAR) 140mm (bottom of PSU, vented) - out (put a peice of cardboard or something so teh 80 underneath doesnt take hot air)
F: (REAR) 80mm - in

Argosy is right

and Onions, the CPU will get fresh air from "B" fan - blowing cold air straight to CPU heatsink

A - out
B - in
C - in
D - in
E - out
F - out

Thanks for the various inputs. And just to clarify, the reason I had B set to blow out was because it is actually right over the CPU fan that blows outward. I had figured that setting B to blow against the CPU fan blowing out would be detrimental. (should I have the CPU fan blowing on the heatsink instead of outward? sorry.. confused about that one) Interesting about moving the 120mm to the top. I'd have to drill some new vent holes, but it just might be doable.

"B" fan and heatsink fan must blow air into the heatsink

When I built my rig, I had to change the air flow so that all fans were exhaust except for the fans on the H50.
They are intake in a push/pull config and it really keeps cool
Top - 120cm exhaust
Front - 120cm exhaust
Rear - 80 cm exhaust
PS - exhaust
Ambient temp 14c
Zoom in and see that CPU OC'd @ 4060.9 CPU temp 29c
Temp goes to a max of 36 when playing BO's
I think an H50 or H70 would do nice.
