Asus GTX 580 Direct CU II or Gainward GTX580 Phantom? - Page 3

Guess I'm one of the few that say Phantom :\\

I've had a terrible time with the ASUS [USA] RMA service, and quite frankly I'd give any company a shot over Asus at this point. I've literally banned their products from my build after two mind numbing RMA's with them.

Could it have been bad luck? Sure. But I'll be damned to get screwed yet again by Asus.

Asus rant over.

As per the looks of both cards, the Phantom looks 10x cleaner imo which makes Munky happy

I'm in the same boat as Munky. I haven't had any luck with ASUS products, and I really like the way that Gainward looks.

Pedros! What is your max core clock mhz overclock on your card with stock voltage? I'm having a problem going past 860.
