Why is the size of the grain of salt relevant.

Cause the size of the grain should directly correlate with the level of skepticism.

To answer an earlier post...barely any 2600ks that I know of can hit 5.5. And ur gonna likely need sub zero cooled volts for that feat.

This is great news imo. Probably slightly over exagerrated like sb easy 5.0 on air was. But these could mean all around price drops and bulldozers selling like hotcakes like opty 165s =)

You probably already have, do you write for Anandtech?

Quad BD with similar performance to 2500K similar price fair enough, but earlier you thought around $150, that's a far cry from $200 at that price. Though if they go toe to toe I can't see why AMD wouldn't price them exactly the same.

Well the thing is if it does and AMDs market share. AMD in a way has to sell their chips for a little less even if their CPU was exactly equal to Intel's.

also I made the predictions after Ivy Bridge will be out which is around late 2011 or who knows maybe 2012.

That is about all I have to comment on this.

This chart seems fairly fictional to me. Though is a fairly accurate facsimile of how things should be.

Zambezi 4 Core is real, but it won't be released till later..

=========================================

Man if that 4 core overclock well, what a beast AMD has!

Think about it all guys, why would AMD release their uber 8 core chip before their 4 core chip in the desktop market, that reminds me of the i7-980x followed by the lesser Core i7/i5s chips, followed by the lesser i5/i3 chips.... HMMMM I see a pattern here.... (Remember what ensued after the i7-980x hit?)

Maybe AMD wants to show who is boss by blowing down Sandy Bridge and all Intel chips, then add in other chips later (priced after Intel's panic) to kill the rest of Intel's line...

WHAT A FREAKING MOVE THAT WOULD BE!!!

Lets see AMD topics and forums tend to attract people who are interested in AMD no? That isn't too logical for you is it?
