Addiing Noctua NH-D14 - Couple of Questions

Hi guys. I'm switching out my CM Hyper 212 for a Noctua NH-D14. I'm using a Sabertooth X58 mobo in a Haf X. I really don't want to have to remove the mobo from the case and rewire everything.

Can I do it like this:

1: Lay the case on its side and unscrew the Hyper.
2: Stand the case up, remove the back bracket (behind the mobo) from the Hyper.
3: With the case still standing up, add the Noctua NH-D14 back bracket hardware.
4: Lay the case back down and finish mounting the heatsink/fans.

This would be my preferred method unless someone more experienced can tell me why I should unmount everything.

there is no need to unmount everything if you have enough space from back side to mount/unmout bracket

you cam change the cooler as you wrote here
