Marvel vs Capcom 3

IGN Review

I played it myself, and let me tell you, it just isn't the the same as the classic MVC or MVC2 (which took plenty of skill). My younger brother was getting his ass whooped by me on MVC3 singlehandedly by Wolverine, and he did some practicing and he started using overpowered characters like Dante and Trish...

Hyper Combos are easy to pull off (a simple pull of the left trigger for level 1 combos), and there are only so many characters on the roster, even with the unlocked and DLC.

Disappointing really.

However, I do like that arcade feel of the game with the fast paced action and switching.

Discuss.

It comes out at midnight tonight! I'm pretty excited. But yeah, this one is much more noob friendly then MvC2. So for all of you that expect to do some rom magneto infinities, good luck hah.

I do like MvC2 but I still place MvC (Dreamcast) as topdog because of it's tight gameplay mechanics & better animation sprites. I plan to play MvC3 over a friend's house so I can decide if it's worth $60.

Yeah, I wish it wasn't $60 :\\ But all is good. I'm currently at GameStop right now waiting for my copy. But I won't be able to play tonight cause I got a lovely midterm to study for.

+10

I have the game right now and as far i can tell its just so easy and simple that i get bored playing the arcade mode, its fun if you have a friend to play with it thats for sure.

Anyways i kinda like Mvc3, finally is here for Ps3/Xbox360 but i like more some old arcades like xmen vs street fighter, or mvc and mvc2, etc.

Its worth $60 if you have someone to play the game, but if you want solo, wait until price drop.

Unfortunately, I will not be playing this game, until it comes to PC. Oh yeah it won't come to PC, because Capcom said because of the cheat hacks on the PC version of SF4, they will no longer make PC ports.

I have only unlocked 2 players akuma and sentinel. Please tell me that there is at least another 10 to unlock. And they better not be lame and make additional characters DLC.

I hope they are "lame" and make DLC characters. Why wouldn't they? It would be silly not to. They are already releasing 2 that comes with the SE in 30 days. That would indicate more in the future. Not any different than DLC with other games like Halo. It keeps interests and online activity going. I am all for it.

If they are DLC, then MvC3 would be considered an unfinished product in my eyes. That's just silly.

There's only like 4-6 characters to unlock.
