yes , and when you make that tri-core to quad core by simply changing few options in bios the performance is doubled . for a GPU i recommend you look into HD 5770 for 100eu or HD 6850 for 140eu both require 1 PCI-E connector so u dont need to go overkill on PSU and both are power efficient like 140-150w on full load

OP, I suggest that the first two things you should buy are a huge FULL TOWER case and a top the line PSU.

These two things are like trees. Once you buy them you won't have to upgrade them for about 1,000,000 years, AND seeing how the case is FULL TOWER and the PSU is top of the line, they'll accommodate WHICHEVER future gizmos you WILL EVER want to put inside your computer for a next bazillion years as well.

there's nothing more annoying than buying that latest upgrade and realizing that, "oh my PSU needs more watts" or "oh dang my case is too small"

thats true but in the OP's situation if he throws cash on a good full tower and a good PSU he will be left with no budget for his new build ...case and psu wont bring him more FPS in TF2 and other games

@ RabbitGT: yeah ffjerxx had mentioned that graphics card, so I'll definetly start saving up for that .

@ cuad: Thanks for the input. I was more or less aware about the PSU but don't really know which to buy. How many watts shouldi get?

About the case...What is a full tower case?Is it a "regular" one?Or not so quite?

its easy to calculate ur cpu will take 95w on stock speed (100% load), gpu will take 140w(HD 5770 100% load) 150w(HD 6850 100% load) on stock speeds , case fans are about 4-5w each , HDDs are around 10w each ODD is also around 8-10w so cpu+gpu+3 case fans+hdd+odd = 270-280w on 100% load

Thanks for the input RabbitGT, do you recommend any PSU brands? Corsair seems expensive, but it seems like the best in the market. I can choose from Corsair, Antec, 1life, 2hix, fsp and some more...thanks!
