Not sure, if you can though you only get the performance of 2x1GB cards

It's probably possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. Don't see the point though, since the Vram don't add up in SLI.

I agree, it could be possible considering they have the same memory bandwidth. I know for sure you cannot a 768mb card, and a 1gb card. As somebody else mentioned, even if you could, you would still only see 1gb for each card.

I haven't played a Non-sli game yet....

Related: SLI them and make GPU render the Physx. Works for me.
