So time for a new rig .

Already decided on 2600k. Ram, probably Mushkin blacks.

Mobo though is what i have a question on.
Is the Maximus IV worth the extra 100$ over the TUF?

No it isnt, if you need the tri sli support go with the WS Revolution, I wouldnt even say the sabertooth is worth it over the Evo or Pro, too little features for their price tag.

I wanted a gigabyte board, I was planning on ordering one the day the recall hit, but couldnt find one. I stumbled on a vanilla asus p8p67 at a local shop for 179, a little high, but in stock right in front of me. so I got it, and i couldnt be happier, unless you want sli, or bragging rights, any asus p67 will do, I hit 4.5 on 1.31, all other settings auto, with 5 min of first post, I love it. I like the look of the tuf but it seems to me like it may trap heat

So is the ONLY thing the evo has over the pro the 1 extra lan port? I very much like my dual lan since i usually have to share my internet connection w/ my xbox to play on live but I think i'm going to buy a new xbox anyways so that's no biggie. If that's the only feature the evo has over the pro i think i'll get the pro and save 30 bucks.
