Okay, since i got a Titanium X-Fi for Christmas i played BF2 today, and i was like eek.gif "I forgot to turn on Ultra-High Sound!!!" Well i turned it on and all then i start a game and Boom, no sound whatso ever.....WTH, anyone know how to fix it, BTW i am using teh Sound Blaster ALchemy to Re-Enable EAX effects and Hardware Sound.

Correction:

I get no sound with Creative X-Fi Mode Enabled, i have no freaking clue why.

Solved:

For some reason i had the game in Windows 2000 Compatability, dont ask me why.....I turned it off and it works great now.

You don't need to run ALchemy, it is only needed for older games that used DirectSound. BF2 uses OpenAL which supports EAX just fine in Vista and W7.

When you say "Creative X-Fi Mode Enabled" do you mean in the game? If so, then you need to select Game Mode under the X-Fi Mode Switcher.
