Can anyone else with the ASUS M4A89GTD confirm is this is normal? And can a mod put the motherboard name in the title to gather attention of other owners?
This is perfectly normal and vexing behavior with my exact same mobo. I've tried the newest and a couple older BIOS's and it still shows the CNQ and C1E grayed out. First board I've seen this behavior from and thanks for the confirmation that mine isn't unique. Turbocore doesn't work as advertised either. It does increase the multiplier of two or three cores to a max of x16.5 (from default x14) but none of the cores ever go below the default 2.8 GHz so whats the point?
Update: Oops should have read a little further. I think I'll try offsetting my CPU core as well and see if CNQ and C1E become available again. Thanks for the great tip!Edited by MicroMiniMe - 2/20/11 at 11:59pm
