Hey guys as the title states what nvidia card can i buy to pair with my rig right now so that i would not bottleneck it with my current hardware, all the specs there are running 24/7 so make your decision based on that.

I would go out on a limb and say that any pair of cards (within reason) would be bottlenecked, but for the most part, I only believe the bottleneck would be on the high end of FPS (not the lowend meaning, a higher minimum FPS.)

It won't be as good obviously with a nice quad core at 4.0 GHz. Anyway you can get a cheap Phenom II X4 9x5 with a pair of cards?

Agree with upper floor, going for a better CPU will be more effective than for a GPU to you.

GTX 560 Would not bottleneck on that system (Single Gpu not SLI).
On your AOC 20" @ 1600x900 The 560 Would serve you very well for game use, Plus you can fold for OCN with it ^_^

Right now i'm just looking for something cheap around $300..i'm waiting till years end and see where amd and intel stand with sandy bridge and bulldozer...and that 20'' aoc is giving me problem so i will be buying a nice HD monitor with the new graphics card. But i can squeeze quite abit out of the processor it gets up to 4.5ghz as a dual core and as a B55 quad it gets to 4.2ghz.

I know 300 is not cheap but i would buy a good enough card that can pop back in with my other upgrade at the end of the year...I saw the gigabyte 560 super overclocked is giving the 570's hell sometimes out performing them.

Around $300 means SLI GTX460. If You don't want 2 cards in your system though go for GTX 560. There are promotions for GTX480 For under $300 after rebates as well.

gtx 480 sounds tempting but i have heard that get get really hot and as i'm from the caribbean temps here get ridiculous sometimes although i do have my room air con'd so i guess that does not matter, but i still rather the newer 500series cards
