Who said anything about pop-ups?

I referred to the UAC Lock Screen with the Command Prompt Box, not a Pop-Up which is Internet browser related, another subject entirely, but I thought that was common sense, meh...

You are trolling, plain and simple, my statements can be backed up your statements only lend to the validity that you are trolling...
Lol what? I stated an opinion just as you and you go off ranting about something having to do with trolling. I'm sorry you got mad that I called you out for the fact you're bragging about your experience on here. Seriously though, some people on here that have had fewer years on you, undoubtedly know more than you.

Who cares if it's AVG or Avira or Avast or MSE. The point is that common sense and a simple free virus scanner can be better than basically any solution you suggest.

Pop-up or not, the only thing that UAC does is give you a prompt asking if you want to open a program. I have never had it prompt me for anything I haven't clicked on or started myself. The root of that problem does not rely on UAC, but something such as the anti-virus scanner or firewall.

This was my last throw of the dice with Microsoft in the browser wars, they are totally out now.
There are some features in IE9 that rely on Windows 7's taskbar.
