Looking for a good router.

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a good router, preferrably wired; However, I may get a wireless router if someone could suggest a good one. I do a lot of gaming and so does my wife. We both run our computers for streaming HD movies, to gaming, so we need a really good router. I live in a close knit area. I'm hesitant of a wireless router, because I don't want people connecting to my router, or attempting to hack the password to get connected to my router.

So please, could someone help me out and suggest some good routers that could fit my needs?

Thank you.
