[CNET] AMD takes a Valentine's Day swipe at Intel - Page 7

post #61 of 103
That was a black rose. It's a symbol for the impossibility of perfection. It's something that can NOT be produced in nature no matter how hard you try.

Oh my, how narrow minded you are. Schools, businesses, government institutions...none of those computers fit your definition of a desktop computer right?

BTW, APU is useless for desktops. Who doesn't use a discreet GPU anyways? Better hope AMD has something more than APUs to try and compete on the desktop market.

Just like saying;
"The Corvette I will have next year is better than the Lamborghini you have right now" Says the guy driving an old Kia.
Sour grapes, or should I say fanboys?

Loosen up, if you get all stuck up over this little joke, you seriously need to get help.

benchmarketers away from intel ad $$$?
(given for "positive reviews on defective products." ahem, sandy bridge.)

i am not optimistic.
Benchmarks are only an indicator of what is currently possible from the tested CPU / GPU which is available for testing...

Will the Unknown be a factor? YOU BET!!!

Why?

Bulldozer is slated to be released just shortly after Sandy Bridge Motherboards are Fixed, you will be able to exchange your board for the fixed one soon enough...

Buy why?

Bulldozer is about to come, and if you bought into Sandy Bridge and Bulldozer cost lest and beats it (as many of us suspect it will), then you will have much remorse...

I don't want to see any Intel fan take a hit on this one, Bulldozer IS worth waiting for, just trust me on this one...

I'm guessing you're not one either, so you're in the dark. One profitable quarter does not deduce 16+(Or however many red quarters they have) of unprofitability.
