How about using some proper grammar and punctuation so your posts are somewhat readable?

What Defoler was trying to say is that there is no guarantee that someone else's specs are going to work (ideally or at all) with your system. It would be best to do research on the process of OCing first. Then jump into it slowly. Punching in random BIOS settings and hoping for the best is not the way to overclock.

thanks ski , thou heard anything beyond 1.4 vcore is killer, btw thanks for the list but i need something more from a asus rampage 3 owner such as myself wich has experience with what im goin thru i hope you understand thou im greatful and will add your list to my equasion , keep em posts comin , and do me a favour and get some rampage 3 owners in this thread ..please...

p.s : macbrown ,, sorry if i must correct you but first off my grammar sux live with it thats life we cant all be doctors , anyhow you mustve misunderstood me what ive meant was for similar specd members to help me out with their settings not someone that has a totaly different oc rig , i hope you understand that, and the only difference between a identical specd system would be the batch cpu nr. some require more juice others less that is all , so dont try to bring in the oh its so impossible card ok , cause its not exspecially with the 980x cpus, peace and rock on yall lets make this happen as others have and are enjoying it, hurahh!!

I will post my R3E/980X 4.44GHz OC settings, but first I have a couple of comments since I do not know how much you know. I suggest you go read a couple of OC guides so you know what you are changing and why.

http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/overc...beginners.html

http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...Language=en-us

When stress testing your OC for stability monitor your core temps with RealTempGT.
http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/

Here is a great calculator that you can use to try different BCLK, CPU Ratio, DRAM, UnCore and QPI settings.

http://icrontic.com/files/apps/nehalem-calc/

I do not want to get into a debate of the best way to stress test, ask 10 people and you will get a least 8 different answers, but you should stress test your OC to you know it is stable or at least close. As a rule of thumb do not let your highest core temp go over 80C. For stress testing I run the OCCT CPU Auto test for one hour, if that passes I run SuperPI twice at 32M. If that passes and I really want to put the screws to it I run 20 passes of LinX at a problem size of 25,000 or greater. After passing all three of these I have never had one of my OC's BSOD.

OCCT http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/index.php?Download

SuperPI http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=211

LinX http://www.mediafire.com/?q2qkke5wfimxq2h

My highest OCCT core temp was 76C and with LinX it was 87C. I really did not like to run it at 87C, but the test only lasted an hour and it did not run 87C the whole hour. I have only run LinX twice on this PC and probably will not run it again.

You will need to adjust the below voltages as necessary to get your OC stable, no one can tell you what those voltages will be, you will just have to adjust, stress test, adjust, stress test, etc. until you get the OC you want and get it stable. The below DRAM settings are for my ram, you will need to adjust the below DRAM settings to the settings for your ram.

Here is my BIOS, hopefully this will give you a start.
