If you don't already have most/all the parts for a full loop, the air.

Water is expensive unless you get most things 2nd hand. Still alot more than air though.

My AC Xtreme 5870 keeps my 5870 under 45c load... And it's silent. There's no reason me going to water over this bad boy.

Water cooling , Looks great, is completely silent, and you can pull off some great OC's

and the temps for the xspc razors are incredible. unlocked both 6950's to 6970 running at 950 @ 1450 and never hit above 60c in benches. usually below 50c in games

watercool, youll never look at a fan again

all my cards and my cpu are under water, and tell you the truth, i sold all my air cooling stuff to my friend,i have my cpu and both my cards at nice temps on a 240 rad, but 6970/6990 will make huge heat thats why i love my 5770 so much, i just hated the hairdryer they put on it as cooling
