LOL, I am a fanboy who has never played forza and own GT5.

Muppet.

To say Forza is not as realistic as GT5 is laughable. It must be a terrible game then as GT5 is not realistic at all, hell NFS hot pursit 2 is more realistic.

At least you don't have to hit WALLS to get speed boosts!

Oh and OP, get a 360. I have about 8 games for my PS3 and about 30 for my xbox.

Getting a little angry over video games, are we? Sorry but in playing racing games I AM MORE CONCERNED ABOUT CAR HANDLING THEN HOW PRETTY MY CRASHES LOOK. In fact I shouldn't have been as general in ANY of my statements because thick headed morons like you will nitpick anything said.

Forza handling is absolute crap... Argue it all you want but you know its true.

Muppet.

Actually was summer 2007 my bad.

No the most recent arcade has HDMI.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360

Scroll down to comparison of features table.

I know it's wiki but still this should be reliable.

Thanks for all the answers guys. Just waiting on the emulators thing. I've been researching and not finding much information. All I found was something called FreeStyle Dash? XD

no emulators or homebrew on 360 w/o modifying it software-wise, and likely getting it black listed from XBL. Edit: They do exist though. I remember reading about a dosbox project for the 360 awhile back.

However, media streaming, game library, etc. It's good to go.
A lot of non-slim 360s have HDMI built-in as well, just have to check.

Also, it's not that difficult to put your own lappy HDD(limited selection of compatible, flashable drives tho) in if you want a new slim w/o paying too much. It's undetectable since the drive itself thinks it's a 360-specific drive after flashing it.
Took me about 2 hrs, but that was after realizing I didn't have xbox backwards compatibility, and then finding an image online of a legit drive, and using it to partition it properly so xbox backwards compatibility would work. Saved me at least $80.

Me, angry? LOL
You are the one WRITING IN CAPITALS.

Also, as stated, I have never played forza. So I was not arguing. Si I guess you could say I don't know it's true

However I was pointing out, GT5 is not realistic, at all.

The fact that sony pulled a tournament because people were lapping faster by hitting walls should make it pretty clear how realistic a game it is.

You're crazy then. Launch model at 2005 had only 1 port. I have 2 x arcades from 2006 and Pro version from 2007 and they have hdmi ports included. Some cheap pro bundles didn't have hdmi around 2007-2008 mostly because those were refurbished early models.

If your switching primarily because of Zune integration then you will be very happy. Your enjoyment of Forza depends entirely on your experience with racing sims. If all you ever play is GT then Forza will feel foreign to you. Usually people who complain about another racing sims unrealistic controls are just complaining that it feels different than GT.

I bought a 360 and it's probably the worst purchase in my life. I also have Forza 3, it's more of a...less realistic arcade racing simulator. The only upside I see from owning my 360 is Halo, but it's not that great of an exclusive to make me want to keep my 360. I'm only keeping my 360 because I already invested so much into it, otherwise I would've sold it.

You wouldn't be able to use the LIVE features (Netflix etc) if you mod your 360 to play emulators, so it would be a trade-off. I'd suggest keeping the PS3 for that and access to GT5 if you don't come to enjoy Forza.

Personally, the guy that is bashing Forza sounds like a GT5 fanboy, so wouldn't be a good idea to base your final decision on what he's saying. I don't have either game, but I've played both and they both feel fine and realistic in their own ways, and in other subtle ways are very different.
