Not now that we have Crysis 2 it isn't. I heard they are working on a tool to let you build your own world. It is almost like minecraft ALMOST. Good enough that is for sure.

Ehh, but minecrafts simplicity is where it's strength is, it's.. just.. minecraft.


I took the plunge and bought it, it was $20, what the heck, and I'm having a blast honestly, finding diamonds and gold left and right.

My grandma happened to hear me talking about it, and now she's up and purchased it and we share stories and tips between each other, I now game with my grandma, talk about bonding xD
