Does anyone here actually have experience with distilled water and G48 (car antifreeze)?to actually confirm that it performs better than distilled water with a biocide? and protects better against algues , groth and corrosion?

Some people are saying that G48(car antifreeze) with distilled water beats distilled water with biocide or coil.

What do you think about that?
BASF 106015 Glysantin PROTECT-PLUS G48, Konzentrat 1,5 Liter: Amazon.de: Auto & Motorrad
Not true.
Skinnee did an awesome review of coolants here:
http://skinneelabs.com/coolantfluid-...l-performance/

Nothing beats pure water short of very complex nanofluids, but they simply are not practical for water cooling. Water has amazing thermal properties and the more junk you add to it the worse it performs for water cooling performance. But worse yet, almost any "Additive" is a solid of sorts eventually dissipates to some degree. You also have to be extremely careful about anything that may contain alcohols as they will attack acrylic and make it crack. Pure distilled with some sort of biocide is bar non the most practical and best performing coolant. Also happens to be the cheapest so win win. Only downside is that it's not a PURDY color and it's not UV reactive. To mitigate that get UV reactive tubing and LED lights for reservoirs.
