Not much difference. Zero noticeable differences and little differences in most benchmarks as well.

Mostly just for bragging rights.

Bump!

75 bucks for 8gb, and there's a 2GB flash drive too!

Not what I've heard from some people; some say it's a pretty noticeable difference..

I've also heard that lower latency can even sometimes help in overclocking, but not sure..

When they say "noticeable" difference, what they mean is they ran it through memory benchmarking programs and noticed that cas 7 and cas 9 RAMs have different benchmark results.

There are zero differences in any real world applications or games. And there is basically no difference in gaming fps-trackers and non-memory benchmarking programs as well.

Usually no. In a few years that will probably change.

But not for current games, Especially if you have a 2GB VRAM 6950/6970/6990/etc. that has no problem handling really big resolutions.
