triple monitor question

Thread Starter
Hi, im new to posting on the forums but ive browsed here for quite some time. My question is i have a Acer G24 1920x1200 2ms monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009155 and i would like to add a couple more 24" 1080 monitors to each side for eyefinity/surround2d. Will any of the asus 24 in 1080 monitors work? any feedback would be helpful. thx

Should work with no problems.

All of the monitors will be ran at 1920x1080. Even the 1920x1200 will be forced to run at that resolution, which results in a stretched picture or black bars; your choice.

EDIT: And to be safe, different model monitors in surround probably won't work. WIll work in eyefinity but it's a huge gamble in surround. Try to get 3x exactly the same monitors for surround. Doesn't matter for EF

If you dont run all the screens at the same Resolution, you will suffer extreme FPS drops and GPU temperature increase

What? ROFL

You gotta be kidding me... @the original poster: Don't listen to this guy

1: Not using surround / EF, 3 different resoulutions don't matter at all. I do it 24/7 in fact

2: You can't enable surround or EF with different resolutions. Every monitor will use the same one
